Clean, ice blast and grease all molds and mold components (follow Work Instructions for some molds) Clean excess grease from injection molding presses (tie bars, rails, etc.) Clean excess parts from injection molding presses (frame, rails, conveyors, etc.) Disassemble/assemble molds from sets, clean, organize and store Press and auxiliary equipment cleaning (press platen, additive feeders, etc.) Monthly carrier cleaning and greasing maintenance Perform weekly safety inspections on the tool room overhead cranes Perform monthly safety audits on the tool room flammable cabinets Follow and enhance 5S Sort, Shine, Set in Order, Standardize, Sustain Perform small machining tasks And other responsibilities and projects as assigned Quals-- Education: High School Diploma. Preferred 2-year degree in Mold Tech. Experience: Experience with injection molding or having a technical machining background desirable Preferred experience with mold tech, mold setting, and press start-ups. Specific skills: Mechanical, hydraulics, and electrical. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and design to learn. Equipment & Machinery: Injection Molding presses and machines. Computer Experience: Basic computer skills required.
