The Assistant Mold Setter assists the mold setter in the installation, removal, and upkeep of the molds and mold components used in the manufacture of plastic parts.Responsibilities
Inspect molds and components for damageReport damage to the Production Manager; repair minor damage and replace parts, as neededUse overhead crane, tow motor, and various power tools to remove molds and components from machineClean molds and components and transport them to and from mold storage areaWork closely with the mold setter and base all decisions on the direction of the mold setterInstall and replace hydraulic and water lines of each press as neededFollow all safety rulesOther responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededRequirements
Minimum high school diploma or equivalentMust have own basic toolsBasic understanding of hydraulics and limit switchesMechanically inclinedExperience using basic hand and power toolsInjection molding experience a plusMold setting experience a plusAbility to lift up to 50 lbs periodically throughout the dayWhat CRH Offers You
