Inteplast Building Products is looking for a Plastic Extrusion Technician
The main purpose of the Extrusion Technician role is to manufacture extruded products and must ensure that production standards relating to safety, quality, outputs, and cost are met. We offer an excellent benefits package

Responsibilities/Duties
Responsible for safety, quality and production of assigned line
Maximize throughput in accordance with operating instructions and/or SOC's
Closely monitor all extrusion functions to ensure that line is running within required operating conditions
Take line data to verify settings according to SOC's for product being run
Maintain frequent contact with rear on line operations to ensure compliance with operating procedures and SOC's
Properly maintain and care for equipment.
Initiate maintenance work orders on items that need to be addressed on future outages Housekeeping: ensure that lines are kept clean and orderly, complying with daily
housekeeping requirements checklists
Overtime as required
Comply with Plant safety regulations and good manufacturing practices
Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular schedule as required
Able to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace
Preferred Skills
Minimum 1 year experience in extrusion department
P.C. knowledge
Mechanical aptitude
Oral and written communication skills
Required Education
High school graduate or GED
Required Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) months packing experience (or equialvent) or a minimum of six (6) months experience machine operating in a manufacturing operations.
Proven ability to utilize basic math skills.
Proven ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels.
Ability to use a gauage, staple gun, and saw.
