Monday-Friday hoursare 1100-1930. Hours are flexible. Every other weekend and holidayrotation. This is not a seasonal or temporary position. The Medical Unitat WMH is a fast paced, 53 bed unit serving a variety of patientpopulations. The staff here provide care for patients with a diagnosisof Sepsis, Acute/Chronic Respiratory conditions, including but notlimited to: Trachs/Vents, Cellulitis, Urinary Tract infections, chronicconditions such as COPD, Heart Failure, Diabetes, patients on Dialysis,and acute drug and alcohol withdrawal. Our staff are also well preparedto care for medical patients with mental health conditions and thosepatients with Dementia. There are approximately 120 staff on the unit,including: RN\'s (tenured and new), CNA\'s, Nurse Interns, Health UnitCoordinators, Staff Development Specialist, Clinical Nurse Specialist,Charge Nurse, Assistant Manager, and Manager to provide full support tothe staff.
