　　This position requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

　　The Medical Technician shall perform and demonstrate proficiency and understanding in one or more areas of the clinical laboratory, assists in instructing other personnel as assigned, performs with a perceptive depth of clinical laboratory tests and procedures which require the exercise of independent judgement and responsibility. Maintains the highest degree of quality patient care at all times.

　　Qualifications:**

　　· Associate degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical laboratory technology and official transcripts one month from hire/transfer date.**

　　· Medical Laboratory Technician certification within two years**
