Specializing in soap, skincare and haircare, our products are crafted intentionally, produced consciously and packaged thoughtfully in the Canadian Rockies. Based out of Canmore, Alberta, our employees enjoy an award-winning culture, surrounded by nature with access to some of the best skiing, hiking and biking in the world.

The position
The Retail Store Leader is responsible for the day to day operations of their Rocky Mountain Soap location. Their accountability is the smooth operations of the store location and ensuring that the customer and employee experience is engaging and authentic. Their role includes identifying and executing initiatives to grow revenue, customer engagement and employee performance so their location performs to maximum potential. The store, the team and the experiences within reflects the culture and values of Rocky, always.
What you'll be doing
Consistently set the example by demonstrating personal customer service and selling skills aligned with Rocky's service standards and expectations
Ensure local customer base development by engaging with the community, sourcing opportunities to further build brand awareness and generally find ways to share the good word about Rocky
Address customer concerns and complaints readily and with intent to exceed what's expected
Lead and motivate the store team and consistently set the example of demonstration and living by the RMSC core values
Coach, guide and genuinely connect with your team, providing consistent and thoughtful feedback
Ensure overall accuracy of inventory in-store as well as ensuring all inventory management processes are completed
Report quality issues timely and ensure all products on sales floor meet our brand standards for quality and presentation
Ensure profitability of the store location through management of all controllable aspects
Lead the store in all sustainability efforts and initiatives
Actively lead and coach all team members to drive revenue and performance metrics
