This must include the course title,the name of the college or university, the number of semestercredit per course, and the date of completion. Duties Description Under the direct supervision of a higher-level professional technician or the supervision of a Mineral Resources Specialist: perform environmental and technical reviews of applications for oil, gas and solution mining well permits; make pre-drilling and post-drilling environmentally oriented inspections of drilling sites and monitor all phases of drilling, production and plugging operations including casing, cementing and stimulation to ensure adherence to rules, regulations and special permit conditions; respond to and investigate complaints from private citizens, legislators, and local government officials; compile maps, records, reports and related information; perform input and analysis of computer data; process electronic permit application submissions for well drilling and plugging.
Additional Comments Must have a valid driver’s license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain Must be able to work in remote areas. Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions. Travel may be required. Overtime may be required. Overnight travel may be required.
