Aerotek is Now Hiring Industrial Millwrights For a Union Offering Above Industry Standard Benefits

　　Description:

　　Hiring Millwrights for full time work in an industrial setting. Projects vary from installation of conveyors to working on shutdowns in a plant. Millwrights will work on machinery, installs, cutting, beveling, and grinding while using multiple hand and power tools to complete mechanical repair and maintenance, new installations of conveyors, and other systems.

　　Qualifications:

　　3rd year apprentice and above

　　1+ years experience in heavy industrial millwrighting

　　Ability to read blueprints

　　Vehicle (Parking will be available)

　　Experience with new installation and mechanical

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Stainless steel welding

　　Electrical motors and experience

　　Able to work out of town

　　WHIMIS

　　Fall Protection, AWP (This would be a huge nice to have, otherwise we will have to train)

　　Rigging exp.

　　Working Hours: Monday - Friday 7am start time

　　Wage: $30 - $45/hr

　　Location:

　　Anywhere in the GRVD.

　　Must be willing to travel anywhere between Chilliwack to North Van.

　　Projects range in size and duration so you may switch sites frequently.

　　Some work in the Okanagan - will provide hotel and will get $75 a day LOA - allowed to bring their SO.

　　Value Proposition

　　If they are apprentices and we bring them on as employees, we pay for completion of their ticket.

　　Provide annual allowances for boots

　　Generous pension.

　　Will provide all certifications needed. AWP, Fall pro, fork lift, confined space, scissor lift etc.

　　Extended Health and Dental benefits :

　　Paramedical services to $500 for all services

　　Annual eye exams

　　Prescription glasses for employees and dependents, up to $300 every 24 months – may be used for laser eye surgery

　　Basic Dental – 100%

　　Prosthetic Appliances, Crowns and Bridges – 50% to a maximum of $2500 annually per family member

　　Orthodontic coverage – 50% to a maximum of $3000.00 (lifetime) for employees and dependents

　　Company pays 100%

　　*On the union straight away
