The Research Foundation (RF) for SUNY, a private, not-for-profit Corporation, is seeking a full time Early Childhood Specialist/Migrant Educator (Teacher’s Assistant) for the Northeast Migrant Education Program for Clinton County. Successful candidate will provide high quality small group or one-on-one tutoring including advocacy for eligible students and their families. NYS Teacher Certification or Teacher Assistant Certification and teaching experience preferred. An associate degree in education or equivalent combination of education and experience, experience implementing instructional programs with children and/or young adults in a classroom setting, and strong communication and record keeping skills are required. This unique opportunity allows the individual to work with students at the district buildings during and after school hours. $18.00-$21.00/hour and paid mileage.
