　　Job Description

　　AECOM is seeking to hire a Civil Engineer to help support projects throughout the Pacific Northwest.

　　Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.

　　Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.

　　Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.

　　Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.

　　Identifies discrepancies in results.

　　Provides guidance to entry level engineers.

　　Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.

　　Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.

　　Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position.

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred Requirements

　　Oregon Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain registration within twelve months.

　　Experience preparing major components of highway improvement project package.

　　Ability to use Microstation, InRoads, AutoCad, or Civil 3D for design and plan production.

　　Proven ability to work cooperatively with a project team.

　　Strong written and oral communications skills.

　　Design Build experience preferred.

　　Additional Information

　　Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The pay scale based on related project work, years and career experience ranges from $70,000 to $129,000.
