  Job Description

  AECOM is seeking a Mid-level Civil Engineer experienced with water resources and/or transportation related projects for an opening in our Sacramento, CA office. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to work on flood protection and design of a new off-stream storage dam in Northern California. Due to AECOM success in winning work, a career here will continually offer opportunities on a wide variety of projects.

  Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  ​Providing technical support to water infrastructure projects including: design, analysis, inspection, construction observation, and regulatory compliance activities

  Development of plans, specifications, and construction estimates.

  Collaborate with teams for analysis for dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, tunnels, pipelines, flood protection systems, and conveyance facilities.

  Preparation of technical reports, memos, and engineering design and construction related documents.

  Qualifications

  Minimum Requirements:

  Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Qualifications:

  5 - 7 years of civil engineering experience related to water and/or transportation projects

  California Professional Engineer’s (PE) license

  Master’s degree in civil engineering

  Additional information

  Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The target salary range for this position is $85,000 -$110,000.
