　　FDA-registered, FSSC 22000-certified cGMP manufacturer of high purity specialty chemicals for pharmaceutical, biotech, nutritional, food and other markets. They were recently reclassified as an API to support pharmaceutical products as well as food etc.

　　Description

　　• Works under direction of microbiology supervisor.

　　• Conducts microbiological assays and performs routine environmental monitoring.

　　Tasks

　　• Conduct testing such as pour plate, membrane filtration, swab testing, water testing, enumeration of organisms, growth promotion testing, and routine environmental monitoring.

　　• Conduct organism identification as needed.

　　• Create purchase orders and order supplies as needed.

　　• Trend data efficiently

　　• Calibrate instruments and perform instrument qualifications as required.

　　• Log equipment temperature readings daily.

　　• Open investigations, as necessary

　　• Complete change controls for document issues.

　　• Gram stains and provide morphological characteristics.

　　• Interface with other departments daily to answer questions or communicate sample status.

　　• Perform other related duties as assigned to meet departmental and company objectives.

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology or related science; or equivalent combination of bachelor’s degree and pertinent, progressive experience in pharmaceutical or other highly related industry.

　　• MINIMUM Two years of experience in a microbiology laboratory required. Need to demonstrate mastery of micro techniques on resume

　　-experience in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry preferred
