Your field of responsibility A strategic opportunity within the Business Risk Organization (BRO) team for one of the world’s leading Wealth Management franchises. You’ll be working in the APAC CIO Global Investment Man-agement Business Risk Organization (BRO) function in India. Global IM BRO interfaces with our businesses to deliver effective fit-for-purpose risk and quality management solutions supportive of CIO Global IM’s Advisory and Discretionary mandates, Funds and Alternatives offering and the Wealth Planning and Life insurance business in APAC. The role involves § monitoring and assessing the products related risk management and control framework, perform operational risk assessments, review control function outcomes and audit coordina-tion. § build trusted relationships with our CIO Global IM partners to identify and understand risk re-lated issues (including business, operational, legal, regulatory and conduct risks), and clearly articulate them to management to help them in their decision making. § work with business stakeholders to identify risk areas and support management to address and resolve these risks. § support projects in CIO Global IM through providing risk related advice and cooperating with the business on risk related inquiries from auditors, regulators or internal stakeholders. § partner with our control functions to ensure legal and regulatory requirements are observed. § work with risk managers and various stakeholders across the organization. § proactively challenge the status quo while driving innovation in our risk framework and inde-pendently lead key risk topics for the Global IM business in APAC. Your future colleagues You join the Global IM Business Risk Organization team which is responsible for establishing and running the Business Risk Management framework for CS Global IM. Your colleagues are spread across the APAC region and Switzerland to support and advise the Global IM management teams in preventing and handling of non-financial risks. The function oper-ates with a high degree of collaboration & analytical thinking and oversees all risk & control require-ments for the business. You will be part of the larger Cross-Products BRO team and will have various opportunities to work with our GWM BRO family across APAC. We are looking for: § Post-graduate degree in Finance/Economics/Operations from reputed University. Additional qualifications such as FRM/CFA/CAIA are preferred though not mandatory. § 8-10 years of professional experience in Risk Management, preferably in Wealth Management Risk Compliance or Audit function. § Expertise in Monitoring Control, Risk Analysis & Reporting as well as review of procedures & governance policies. § Ideally has prior experience of products, particularly funds or alternative investments. § Knowledge and familiarity with risks associated with investment products and APAC Regulatory frameworks (MAS, HKMA, ASIC, SEBI) § Ability to deep-dive into entire value chain of the business, connect dots and perform early risk identification while simultaneously meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment. § Strong analytical & conceptual skills combined with a “Can do attitude” and structured, solution-oriented approach. § A proven ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively in a rapidly changing environment with the capacity to proactively anticipate, identify, prevent and resolve issues § Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships at all levels including senior management. § Strong verbal as well as written communication skills with ability to prepare and present management information. § Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives Job: Risk Management* *Title: *Business Risk Management, VP#231179 Location: India-Mumbai-Mumbai Requisition ID: 231179
