The responsibility of the Strategic Growth Platforms team is to develop a multi-year value creation pipeline and contribute to accelerating company growth. This individual will define strategic & profitable white space areas to unlock unmet demand and curate & shepherd ideas from inception to the marketplace. The preliminary area of focus for this individual will involve shaping the strategy behind long-term, transformative portfolio actions – with consideration to price and promotion, portfolio architecture, value curve alignment, etc. – to set the business up for long-term, sustainable growth. Development of these strategies will require close collaboration with various stakeholders represented across numerous functions, including Category Management, Sales, Portfolio Strategy, SRGM, and Brand Teams. As the strategy moves to commercialization, this individual will transition to other Strategic Growth Platform areas of focus, to be determined, with some expected exposure to the company’s holistic commercial investment initiative, focused on equitably measuring variable investments across the organization and executing analysis to guide spend optimization across tactics. * Key Responsibilities:* * Identify pockets of growth by researching, validating, supporting, facilitating, advising, and driving initiatives * Partner with Confection leaders to ensure successful scaling of product and non-product commercial solutions * Create and develop new commercial concepts to further develop strategy * Design, launch, and manage in-market tests to prove out scalable concepts * Executes complex and comprehensive analyses to support the development of commercial investment process * Develops comprehensive tracking and reporting development to support critical organizational strategic pillars * Assists in the development, management, and execution of a technology roadmap * Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree required * Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Consumer Goods or Consulting * Strong understanding of business strategy and objectives * Strong communicator with ability to lead directly and cross-functionally * Ability to cultivate and create excitement and engagement in the organization * Strong technical skills (e.g., Excel, Tableau, IRI, etc.), with ability to synthesize multiple data sources * Problem-solving mentality, intellectually curious, strong critical thinking skills The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
