  Manage annual congress strategy and seek opportunities to expand Edwards's presence.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Manage all national and regional medical congresses from development to implementation; provide support for global congresses as neededNegotiate higher volume and complex contractsDevelop strategies for the effective management and execution of medical congresses, marketing events and projects intended to maximize company exposure and produce sales leadsDevelop relationships with associations to ensure maximum exposure and greatest benefit for Edwards sponsorship and participationManage relationships with multiple vendors and lead vendor teams for congress execution and event managementManage new booth development; audit booth asset inventory; remain current on new trends in exhibit designPlan and execute educational symposia and customer events within medical congresses; contract negotiations, logistics, F&B, AVActive budget forecasting, management and reconciliation; and fiscal responsibilityLead cross functional teams to successful results

  Education/Experience

  Bachelor's degree5 years of previously related work experience working in sales, marketing

  Required Skills

  Proven successful project management skillsProven expertise in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectivesExtensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standardsExtensive understanding of related aspects of marketing concepts and principlesExtensive knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to strategic event planningStrict attention to detailAbility to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organizationAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environmentRepresents leadership on sections of projects within a specific area working closely with cross-functional team, marketing peers and leaders and managing needs and messaging to upper managementMaintain a strong relationship with the regional sales team, clinical specialists, governmental affairs, clinical economics and training to ensure effective and optimal integration of efforts.Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
