What You Will Do
The Mgr 2, Area Production Manager optimizes production by leading teamsin quality, safety, planning, and lean manufacturing. They foster acollaborative, results-oriented environment in line with Panduit\'svalues, driving continuous improvement and a strong safety culture.Committed to meeting business needs, they support company initiatives,serving as a role model for leadership and continuous improvement.Overall job responsibilities include:
Lead production teams for optimized workflow and communicationthrough effective scheduling, coaching, and employee development.Implement Production Training Programs for job training, leanmanufacturing, and quality to support current and future businessneeds.Ensure a safe work environment by actively promoting safetypolicies, Safe Start initiatives, and maintaining diligenthousekeeping.Achieve production goals and Key Performance Indicators, emphasizingsafety, delivery, product quality, cost performance, and talentdevelopment.Drive plant-wide continuous improvement through performance reviews,CI strategies, and technology research, fostering employeeinvolvement.Actively lead and promote key Panduit Initiatives, including Cultureof Accountability, Operational Excellence, and Safety.Manage resource planning, capacity development, and manufacturingroutings, ensuring short-term and long-term operational efficiency.Contribute to business initiatives such as budget preparation, costreduction, and technology research, collaborating with businessunits to achieve operational goals.What You Will Bring
Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or Business, or 10+ years ofproduction management experience in lieu of a degree required8-10 years of overall experience, with 5-10 years in productionsupervisory or management roles requiredStrong leadership, interpersonal, and teamwork/collaboration skillsProven ability to lead teams and make effective decisions in afast-paced environmentExperience in selecting, leading, evaluating, coaching, developing,guiding, and motivating teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid decision-making abilities, operational planning,problem-solving, manufacturing process understanding, and financialmanagement/budgetary knowledgeStrong analytical, planning, organizational, project management, andmulti-tasking skillsWorking knowledge of inventory systemsChange agent with demonstrated expertise in Lean, ContinuousImprovement, Panduit Operating Model, and safety management.What We Can Offer You
