RESPONSIBILITIES: -Responsible for performing scheduled & un-scheduledmaintenance on wafer fabrication equipment -Work with the factorymanagement team to prioritize job tasks -Work with peers, supervisor, &engineering team to deeply understand root cause of failure & use thoselearnings to continuously improve equipment availability to meetproduction goals -Work with vendors, field service and technicalrepresentatives, and may be required to attend classes, seminars, vendortraining -Attend shift pass-down meetings and communicate dailyactivities -Document all work performed on equipment QUALIFICATIONS:-Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent militaryexperience is required -1 to 3 years\' experience in high volumesemiconductor environment -The ideal candidate will have directexperience on wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment-Candidate must adhere to all company safety protocols -Demonstratedproficiency in collaboration with others to make improvements throughexperimentation and drive toward standardized methods -Strongmechanical, electronic, and troubleshooting skills required -Candidatemust have solid workplace soft skills -Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills. Must be fluent in English -Candidate must becomfortable navigating and operating computers -Basic familiarity of MSOffice programs is a plus -Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changingpriorities and responsibilities -Hands-on participation and strong senseof ownership -Ability to work under minimum supervision in a fast paced,high volume production environment -Must be physically capable ofstanding/walking up to 12 hours per shift and lift up to 35 lbs. -Mustbe physically capable of supporting equipment maintenance that requiresoccasionally bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, squatting, etc.-Must be able to wear a respirator and other personal protectiveequipment (PPE) for possible work handling hazardous materials -Abilityto work well independently and in a team environment Qorvo will notsponsor job applicants for visas or work authorizations for thisposition.
