　　A-Lert Roofing Systems, a division of Centurion Industries, Inc.,specializes in the installation of both onsite and factory manufactured standing seam metal roofs. A-Lert Roof Systems sells primarily to customers in the educational, institutional, military and governmental sectors. A-Lert provides the unique concept of supplying and installing red iron steel framing and standing seam metal roofs with a single source responsibility, making it one of the very few turnkey retrofit roofing companies in the United States.

　　Job Summary

　　Assist job Foreman in their daily tasks and duties to help complete jobs on time and within budget.

　　Measure, cut, bend, set, screw down, tighten, and connect material and other components during various stages of the completion process.

　　Utilize tools such as, Tape Measure, Impact Drills, Aviation Snips, Ropes, Safety Anchors, Lanyards, Rivet Drivers, Hand seamers, Mechanical seamers, and other basic construction tools to accomplish each project.

　　Lay Metal Panels across Red Iron (Red Oxide) metal framing by connecting clips.

　　Measure, cut, set, and anchor framing at various heights and distances to ensure structural integrity in accordance with Engineering design and Blue Prints (CAD Drawings)

　　Ensure work is being done efficiently with a safety first mentality.

　　Keep work area and job site clean and orderly as possible to prevent injuries, fatalities, or other safety related incidents.

　　Look and perform professionally at all times

　　Communicate well with Foreman, Site Superintendent and others you may come into contact with on the job site.

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　Able to lift weight in excess of 40lbs without assistance, but not to exceed 60lbs.

　　Able to withstand prolonged exposure to temperatures in excess of 110 degrees.

　　Able to stand for long periods of time, bend over, kneel, and be in unnatural positions for extended periods of time.

　　Able to dawn all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Hard hat, safety glasses (ANSI Z-87 rating only), steel toe boots, cut resistant hand protection, full body harness, face shields, and hearing protection when necessary.

　　Able to learn, work as part of a team, and be dependable each day to accomplish the tasks required of you.

　　Able to climb and descend ladders, scaffolding, and other working platforms

　　Able to pass a pre-employment drug test as well as random drug tests throughout career.

　　Must be able to pass a background check.

　　Authorized to work for any U.S. employer.

　　Be able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time.

　　Per diem is authorized at work site locations outside of the 50 mile radius of A-Lert Roof Systems Headquarters office in New Braunfels, TX. Exception: Employees whose home of record is outside of the 50 mile radius and required to work within the 50 mile radius of New Braunfels, TX will be authorized Per Diem. Per Diem is a non-taxable payment given to the employee to supplement travel expenses to reduce out of pocket expenses for the employee. It is to cover the employee’s daily hotel/motel costs and food.
