　　JOB TITLE:  Metal Process Worker

　　PLANT/DEPARTMENT:  Process  DIRECTED BY:  Process Team Lead

　　IMPORTANT WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:Team leaders, welders, machinists, material handlers, quality assurance, and production control.

　　DIRECTS:None

　　PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:Meets and demonstrates safety in the workplace. Cut and form raw materials on a variety of machines based on shop orders and print directions. Demonstrate the ability to meet routed hours with acceptable quality.

　　MAJOR DUTIES:

　　Ability to independently operate three of the following: burner, brake, clean/grind, hand burn, saw, shear/punch press with a high level of quality.Kits and separates parts based on next operation.Trains and mentors' peers in department.Performs preventative maintenance on machines. (OPM's)Basic blueprint skills.Basic math skills.Ability to make parts efficiently within guidelines to maintain production schedule.Ability to foresee problems and get assistance to resolve them to reduce cost.Performs basic crane operations.Functions as a team player with co-workers and other departments.Other duties as assigned.

　　EXPERIENCE PREFERRED/SPECIAL NOTES:Minimum of 9 months relevant metal processing experience.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 poundsLong periods of standing
