  Mental Health Specialist 1: $26.45 - $35.31 Hourly

  Mental Health Specialist 2: $31.39 - $41.95 Hourly

  Join Our Team: Liaison for the Oregon Psychiatric Security Review Board!

  Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals facing complex challenges? Lane County Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Liaison for the Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB) Team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential support to individuals under the authority of the Oregon Psychiatric Security Review Board, residing in Lane County.

  Key Responsibilities, PSRB:

  Provide monitoring, mental health treatment, and care coordination for individuals within the PSRB system.

  Offer therapeutic support to a select caseload of PSRB clients.

  Facilitate community-based restoration initiatives to promote individual participation and growth.

  We are also recruiting for a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our Aid and Assist Team serving adults with severe and persistent mental illness and who are engaged in the process to determine fitness to participate in their own defense. This is a position for someone who is interested in systems level engagement along with client care.

  Key Responsibilities, Aid & Assist:

  Screening and assessment of adults with severe and persistent mental illness to determine fitness to participate in their own defense.

  Provide evidence-based treatments and supports to assist individuals in their recovery and restoration process.

  Serve as liaison between the community, contracted housing organizations, the Oregon State Hospital, and criminal justice systems to ensure coordination and communication among these entities.

  Lane County Behavioral Health is committed to improving the mental health and well-being of our community. As a member of our team, you will be part of a multidisciplinary effort that collaborates closely with the Oregon State Hospital, psychiatrists, residential providers, law enforcement, and the Oregon Psychiatric Security Review Board.

  Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Training:

  Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a mental health field, psychology, counseling, social work or a related field.

  MHS 1 Experience:

  One year of some experience working directly with mentally or emotionally disturbed clients in the provision of behavioral health services is highly desirable.

  MHS 2 Experience:

  Two years of responsible professional mental health experience, including one year of experience specific to the program or area of assignment.

  An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

  Special Requirements:

  For MHS 1 - QMHP Certification or enrolled as Clinical Social Work Associate, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate

  For MHS 2 - Oregon Health Licensure required: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

  Health insurance coverage becomes effective the first of the month following your first 30 days as an eligible employee.

  Medical/Rx/Vision - Lane County offers medical, prescription and vision exam coverage for you and your eligible dependents. The plan options and costs per month for 2018 are outlined below:
