These positions are being filled as temporary (limited, unclassified) positions for up to one (1) year.
MMCAP Infuse is a government cooperative purchasing organization for government facilities in all 50 states. MMCAP Infuse is operated by the State of Minnesota‘s Department of Administration - Office of State Procurement ( https://infuse-mn.gov ).
We are seeking multiple positions to undertake a large roster management project that is being necessitated by federal law. In this position, you will contact MMCAP Infuse member facilities to update their contact information, addresses, class of trade, and other pertinent industry-related numbers, including Health Identification Numbers (HIN), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Global Location Number (GLN). You will also serve as back-up to other MMCAP Infuse Membership Coordinators on day-to-day activities as needed.
To promote a culture of flexibility, we offer staff a hybrid work environment that varies by team, position, and business needs. With a telework arrangement, onsite attendance may be required for team meetings or as requested by management to meet business needs. Completion of a telework agreement will be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) years of experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. A Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, health science, business administration, or closely related field may be substituted for one (1) year of experience as described.
Familiarity with the procurement issues, business terminology, and common transaction requirements of pharmaceutical acquisition.
Analytical skills sufficient to interpret and apply rules and definitions of the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong communication (written and oral) to deliver complete and accurate documentation.
Customer service skills sufficient to interact with customers (in person, over the telephone, or via email) in a courteous, tactful, and diplomatic manner.
Strong computing skills in a PC environment (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
Pharmacy Technician certification.
Experience as a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM).
Experience with membership coordination.
Experience with billing and registration.
Ability to quickly learn about business needs of MMCAP Infuse facilities to meet their pharmaceutical usage and purchasing needs.
Strong organizational skills, demonstrated attention to details, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
