Ourtop-notch training and support will quickly turn you into an expert.POSITION SUMMARY The Member Advocate is responsible for providingtransactional and information services to credit union members whileachieving sales goals. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Sales: Cross sellfinancial products or refer members to professionals who can assistthem. Meet or exceed specific individual monthly referral goals. Promoteand recommend various credit union products such as consumer loans,deposits, mortgages, investments, credit cards, and various electronicservices. Respond to questions from the members regarding services weprovide in a professional friendly manner. Attend required sales,services, and department training classes to enhance skill level.Additional duties assigned Operational: Complete deposit, withdrawal,and services transactions with accuracy and efficiency while followingall security procedures. Maintain member confidentiality at all times byverifying all necessary signatures, endorsements, and proper photoidentification. Maintain appropriate cash drawer supply while stayingunder set limits. Verify and balance currency, coin, and checks in cashdrawer at end of shift. Process and accurately balance membertransactions such as: daily mail, night depository, and ATM. Orderchecks through Liberty Check Processing. Order, reorder and maintaincheck cards for members. Enroll/modify payroll allocations and ACH permember request. Complies with all aspects of BSA/AML and OFACregulations as it relates to this position. Maintain a professionalimage of the credit union in dealing with members: provide friendly,helpful assistance, upgrade knowledge of financial products and protectmember confidentiality. Saturday hours are required on a rotating basis.Additional duties assigned Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Highschool diploma or equivalency, or currently enrolled in high school.Previous cash handling and/or retail experience preferred.
