About this position Transports non-critically ill children, adolescents, adults and geriatric customers from location of call to a hospital or appropriate medical facility. The EMT-EMR Driver position is the entry position for EMTs looking to function within the BLS and/or ALS environment within the Metro Division. Requirements Education * High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required. Experience * Previous EMS experience preferred. Licensure/Certification * Valid Class D driver's license in state of residency with an acceptable driving record. Driver must be at least 18 years of age and have not less than one year of experience as a licensed driver * MnDOT certification required * If not current EMT, must complete DOT approved first aid class within 45 days of hire.
