JOB REQUIREMENTS: A bartender must be friendly, outgoing and possessgood communication skills. A guest\'s dinner and/or bar experienceshould be equally enjoyable, and a bartender plays a major role in theoverall picture. Have the ability to perform \"on stage\" as a beverageprofessional. Adheres to all federal, state and local regulationspertaining to serving alcoholic beverage, as well as the resort\'spolicies regarding liquor service and liability. -Knows and appliesfederal, state, and local laws governing the service of alcoholicbeverages, as well as the resort\'s policies regarding liquor serviceand liability. -Obtain and verify bank and open register. -Obtain stockfrom storage areas and refill coolers as needed. -Gathers all neededsupplies and equipment for the bar set-up. -Interprets the bararrangements on banquet contract and plans the set up. -Sets up barareas according to resort standards and maintains it during service withthe assistance of the barbacks. -Ensure customer is of legal drinkingage/card individual if they do not appear 21 years of age or older.-Serves properly mixed drinks per recipe to guests, responsibly neverover-serving a patron. -Keep bar area clean including bar station andstainless-steel areas. -Breaks down the bar at closing and returns allequipment and has a manager checked them out. -Runs tabs, compute guestchecks, operates the SMS/Touch system, and accepts payments. -Takesliquor inventory, fills out the consumption report, replaces items ininventory, and accounts for empties utilizing the bottle for bottlerequisition system format.
