First Realty Management Corp. is seeking an Insurance Risk Management Associate to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the Risk Management department, this individual will be responsible for managing insurance claims and mitigating risks associated with the company's property and casualty exposures.

In this role, you will work closely with the Risk Management team to analyze and assess potential risks, implement risk management strategies, and ensure appropriate insurance coverage. This includes building strong relationships with our Property Managers, conducting risk assessments, negotiating insurance policies, filing and monitoring claims, and providing guidance on loss control measures.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage claims process for First Realty and our properties (property, liability, auto, workers comp)
Conduct detailed risk assessments and identify potential areas of exposure
Develop and implement effective risk management strategies
Negotiate insurance policies and ensure proper coverage is in place
Monitor and review insurance policies and make recommendations for adjustments as needed
Track and manage insurance claims and work closely with insurance providers to ensure timely and accurate resolution
Provide guidance and support to property managers on loss control measures
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to property and casualty risk management
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business, or related field.
2+ years of experience in risk management and insurance claims, preferably in the property management industry.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Strong knowledge of insurance policies and coverage and claims management.
Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and loss control measures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Professional certifications (e.g. ARM, CRM) are a plus.
