　　Job Duties:

　　Verify identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms or records.

　　Present medication to resident and observe ingestion or other application or administer medication.

　　Take vital signs or observe resident to detect response to specified types of medications and prepare report or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions.

　　Document any reasons prescribed drugs are not administered and report to charge nurse.

　　Give direct resident care, such as assisting with bathing, dressing, and assisting in examinations and treatments.

　　Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.

　　Education and Experience:

　　Must be at least 18 years old.

　　High School Diploma or GED required.

　　Completion of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) training program, with subsequent passing grade on skills testing and manual testing to qualify for certification.

　　CPR preferred, not required.

　　Certified through State of South Dakota for Nurse Assistant and complete U.A.P. training.

　　Work Schedule

　　Evening shifts; 32 hours every 2 weeks

　　6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

　　Every other weekend and holiday

　　Pay

　　The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.

　　$19.00 - $25.25 per hour
