Job Title: Medical Transcriptionist  

　　Location: Scottsdale, AZ (East Bell Road and the 101) 

　　Compensation: range $20.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience  

　　Schedule: Monday through Friday - Day Shift (No nights, no weekends, and no major holidays!) This is a hybrid schedule. The candidate MUST be an Arizona resident.

　　 Envita Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist. This position ensures the completion and communication of all tasks relating to entering medical documentation and transcription to patient charts. Medical Transcriptionist strive to accommodate tasks in an efficient, real-time manner. Our ideal candidate must have superb organization, transcribing, and communication skills. The ability to multitask consistently is a must.  

　　 Job Activities and Responsibilities: 

　　Creating and entering relevant medical information to chart notes for doctors to review. 

　　Updating medication list in preparation for the physicians. 

　　In-depth knowledge of medical terms and medical language to correct errors in transcripts and detailed proofreading skills.  

　　Basic knowledge of transcription software. 

　　Transcribe physician recordings. 

　　Ability to communicate with health care personnel about patient information and work assignments. 

　　Ability to manage time and be organized for several documentation projects at once. 

　　Checking and updating patient records. Finding missing information in the records. Contacting healthcare personnel to fill in the missing information. Completing the missing information in the records. 

　　 Qualifications: 

　　Must have experience creating and writing SOAP notes (minimum of 2 years' experience preferred) 

　　Must be familiar with medical terminology, ICD-10 Codes, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments 

　　Transcriptionist experience a plus 

　　Experience in using EMR is a plus 

　　High level of computer skills  

　　HIPPA compliance knowledge 

　　Must be self-directed, self-motivated, reliable, resourceful, and dedicated to successful completion of daily tasks. 

　　Must be a resident of Arizona.
