  Mount Sinai’s Kravis Children’s Hospital seeks a Pediatric Generalist for its School Based Health Program in Manhattan!

  We are seeking a committed, energetic doctor who shares our vision to reduce health care disparities in East Harlem. We are seeking an individual with a background in pediatrics, adolescent medicine, or family medicine who is looking to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families. Interested applicants should also have a strong interest in medical education and working with both medical students and residents.

  School-Based Health Centers are medical health centers within the schools. They provide routine care and also help students manage their illnesses (both chronic and acute) during the school day. Since 1983, the Mount Sinai School Based Health Program has had a presence in the schools within our community. Our schools are part of a consortium of 11 school based clinics governed by Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.

  This position sits within the Division of General Pediatrics within the Department of Pediatrics. Kravis Children’s Hospital is ranked in 7 subspecialties by US News and World Report. The Department of Pediatrics has a long history of providing outstanding care for children, and has a distinguished tradition of excellence in clinical, translational, and basic biomedical research.
