The Medical Technologist will act as a leader in establishing microbiology capabilities and direct research and development within the laboratory. You will aid in the development and growth of the microbiology department and will oversee the implementation of new microbiology technologies and instrument platforms in the lab. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. This position will be a full-time position in Cincinnati, OH.ResponsibilitiesPerform low, moderate, and high-complexity testingTrain on state-of-the-art instrumentation to learn maintenance and troubleshooting skillsEvaluate and interpret quality control and testing resultsProblem solve and work alongside our team of Medical Laboratory Scientists and Central Laboratory Scientist to develop and validate new microbiology testing in our expanding laboratoryStrictly adhere to safety proceduresQualificationsA Bachelor's degree with MT, MLS, or CLS (ASCP) certification, or certification eligible; orBachelor's degree with MLT(ASCP) certification or certification-eligiblePreferredHave at least 4 years of laboratory training or experience, or both, in high complexity testing within the specialty of microbiology with a minimum 6 months experience in high complexity testing within the subspecialty of bacteriology.Medpace OverviewMedpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO).
