Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following: * Assembles and analyzes the record for chart completion deficiencies,in accordance withregulatory requirements and medical staff rules and regulations. * Ensures any deficiencies are assigned to theappropriate medicalstaff member and data is entered for tracking and monitoring purposes. * Reviews documentation and updates or clears the deficiencies asappropriate. * Responsible for answering telephone calls and assisting visitors (including but not limited to physicians, patients, and their family members), while maintaining confidentiality. * Performs release of informationin accordance withHIPAA and state release of information laws. * Performs daily scanning duties of patient charts into electronic health record and quality assurance audits to ensureappropriate locationwithin record. * Performs all State of TN monthly and quarterly reporting * Performs daily monitoring ofIMmodalTranscription and monthly audits
