About Medical Oncologist

  Reference #: R13606Primary ResponsibilitiesInterpreting clinical data according to standard medical practice, GCP guidelines, protocol and charter definition and according to standard Bioclinica SOPsCompleting source documents accurately and promptly, according to the specific charter requirements and following Bioclinica SOPsCorrecting entries on source documents and Case Report Forms (CRFs) in a timely manner as neededParticipating in training sessions for the respective protocolsPerforming Photo Image Quality Assessment (Photo IQA) and participates in the Medical Photography processReviewing protocols, charters and associated clinical and technical study documents as requiredMaintaining security of images, data and equipmentEnsuring confidentiality of study protocols and subjects is maintainedParticipating in sponsor site visits and audits as requestedCollaborating with management to resolve oncologic study concerns and problemsResponsible for his/her continuing professional educationPerforming quality control on his/her work for completenessIdentifying and participating in the performance improvement processParticipating in the development, review and evaluation of SOPs and study specific proceduresCreate test cases for oncology-specific trainingMaintaining a safe work environment and reports workplace hazards immediatelyParticipating in the MA lecture seriesOther functions as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer, VP Medical Oncology and Senior Medical Director

  Secondary ResponsibilitiesMaintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards byReading, understanding, and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standardsParticipating in user acceptance testing for new tools and software enhancementsParticipating in the modification of company SOPs related to the department

  Contribute to Team Effort by:Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processesHelping internal and external customers to achieve resultsCommunicating with different internal departments regarding image quality, deliverables, data discrepancies, and issues needing resolutionAttending project specific, system and team focused trainingsTraining employees on imaging modalities and system applications, including proprietary and 3rd partyPerforming other duties as assigned

  Qualifications:Education:Medical degreePossess a valid US medical license, desiredGraduate of an approved program in Oncology, with additional subspecialty training as required.Board Certified Oncologist

  Experience:Experience in research and/or imaging core lab, desiredComprehensive understanding of treatment response evaluation of solid tumor and hematological malignancies

  Additional skill set:Organization and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneouslySelf-motivated, flexible and adaptable to business needsMust have interpersonal skills to interact effectivelyOutgoing, friendly, professional personalityMust present a positive attitude and a professional appearance.Must possess analytical abilities necessary to acquire and effectively utilize knowledge regarding diagnoses, radiographic assessment interpretation and treatment of oncology subjectsWorking conditions:Travel: 0-5%Lifting: 0-10lbsOther: Computer work for long periods of timeThis position description should not be deemed all inclusive.
