　　Medical Laboratory Technician (Per Diem / Variable)

　　The Medical Laboratory Technician / Clinical Laboratory Technician is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of high complexity laboratory test results with minimal supervision. MLT / CLT personnel are capable of performing pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis, and instrument maintenance and problem resolution. They often work with acute-care and outpatient caregivers, along with other Laboratory Services staff in performing their duties. To advance, an employee must attain increased education, skills, knowledge and abilities and must demonstrate an ability to assume the increased responsibilities and accountabilities of the higher level as designated in the Medical Laboratory Technician, Senior Job Description.
