Weare currently looking for a Full Time (80 hours per pay period - benefiteligible) Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, LPN) in our new Urgent CareDepartment, set to open January 2024. Applicants do not need previousexperience or training/certification as a medical assistant but need tomeet the requirements. As a medical assistant you will be responsiblefor providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficientpatient care. You will support clinicians and patients through a varietyof tasks related to patient care management, organization andcommunication. Responsibilities: Interview patients and document basicmedical history Take vitals and document findings in the patient chartReview annual wellness questionnaire with appropriate patientsAdminister immunizations Monitor messages and relay clinician responsesvia phone calls Enter orders for laboratory services RequiredQualifications: Current CPR certification - must be through AmericanHeart Association or American Red Cross. Completion of an accreditedMedical Assistant program with or without certification (AAMA or AMT) orcurrent LPN (WI License required).
