Description

　　The Medical Assistant Extern (MA-E) observes and participates in a variety of clinical experiences to assist in providing patient care in an assigned clinical setting and perform related duties as assigned. This position is for currently enrolled Medical Assistant students in an accredited program.

　　Required qualifications:

　　Requires current enrollment in an accredited Medical Assisting Program as a student in good standing. Once hired into the position, must maintain current enrollment, remain in good standing, and maintain a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

　　National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

　　One module or one quarter of the Medical Assistant program must be completed before date of hire into the position.
