The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities Division, Children’s Mental Health Bureau. The children’s mental health Medicaid for youth program ensures accurate usage of Medicaid funding in compliance with state and federal requirements. The Medicaid Supervisor oversees the Medicaid program with responsibilities that include maintenance of the state plan amendments, administrative rules, and service providers’ notices for children’s mental health services. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity * * * Knowledge of mental health program management and Medicaid services for youth. * Knowledge of the Administrative Rules of Montana and Montana State Plan. * General knowledge of personnel management and supervision. * Meet minimum qualifications: o Bachelor’s degree in human services, public administration, business, finance, communication or related field. o Four years of program management experience with Medicaid social services/human services program. o One year supervisor experience. o Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
