We’re looking for a Mechanical Service Engineer (Generator Engineer) based out of the Dublin 11 area.

What you’ll do:
Carry out service maintenance as per work instructions on Aggreko generators including systematic fault finding and repairs on mechanical equipment including DC control circuits
Carry out procedural based failure reporting using paper and electronic systems
To complete and maintain paper and electronic records as per site specifics
Operate the Aggreko service mobility system and diagnose Aggreko generator controllers
Issuing non- AC electrical ‘permit to work’
Assist with the installation and demobilisation of Aggreko equipment
Be responsible for Aggreko ‘Health Checks’ and associated adjustments
It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable for compliance to the Aggreko Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and local legislation, and ensure completion and validity of all minimum QHSE training and objectives required by the company
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Mechanical served apprenticeship or alternatively, a City & Guilds/ONC or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering
Possess a letter of authorisation in accordance with Energy Safety Rules
Experience of gas generators in addition to Aggreko gas safety passport is desirable
Must successfully complete ALL assessments in compliance with Gen Tech Mechanical requirements.
The ability to use specialist tools and ensuring all tooling is calibrated in accordance with Aggreko standards and local legislation
Ability to work autonomously when required with the ability to coach and mentor
Strong knowledge of gas systems with a solid background in Gas equipment process and control systems
Salary ranging from €45,000 - €50,000 depending on experience. You will benefit from an additional sign on bonus in your first year, plus annual bonus.
