As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in identifyingwaste, troubleshooting complex manufacturing problems, standardizing anderror-proofing work operations, and most importantly, improving processefficiency. Position Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership anddirection to ensure process designs conform to sanitary standards andproduce products meeting customer and business requirements. Utilizeproven methodologies, including statistical analysis, to optimizeproducts and processes for maximum efficiency. Support commercializationtrials and contribute to the successful launch of new or modifiedproducts. Identify opportunities for process efficiency, continuousimprovement, associate development, and cost savings. Investigatemanufacturing issues related to equipment and engineering processes,reverse engineer machine components to enhance functionality andreliability. Demonstrate technical expertise in mechanical design,equipment, and process optimization using engineering principles andpractices. Position Requirements:Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial,Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering) or a relevant scientific-baseddegree, plus 3 years of direct process support engineering experience,or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstratedprocess engineering improvement/knowledge to drive efficiency and costsavings. Demonstrated understanding and application of statistical baseddata to identify and definitively prove benefit for current and futurestate. Strong background in implementing lean practices; six sigmacertification preferred. Demonstrated ability to meet multipleobjectives, excellent team-building skills, and outstandingcommunication skills. Experience with automated packaging equipment andsanitary processing (food, liquids, cosmetic, or medical) preferred.Familiarity with machine installs, checkouts, and acceptance testing isa plus.
