Description:

　　Summary:

　　This position requires certification to ASNT-TC-1A to perform visual and NDT level II inspection methods of welded assemblies to

　　verify they meet the code requirements. Uses office equipment such as personal

　　computer/software, copiers, etc. in completion of job tasks.

　　▪ Compiles and distributes company certificates: mill test reports, NACE Certificate, magnetic

　　particle certificate, certificate of compliance, certificate of conformance, liquid penetrant

　　certification, etc.

　　▪ After the unit is welded, verifies that all required N.D.E. is satisfactorily completed.

　　▪ Verifies all vertical, horizontal, and angular dimensions.

　　▪ Verifies flange finish and dimensions.

　　▪ Performs final inspection, check tags, part number, switches, and documentation.

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　NDT Level II certification in accordance with ASNT-TC-1A.

　　Manufacturing experience

　　▪ In addition to the essential functions listed above, must be proficient in the use of PC computers, welder software, and ERP business system.

　　▪ The ability to support inquiries or complaints of customers and vendors.
