  The Mechanical Estimator assists either the preconstruction team through the development of cost estimates, value management, and estimate proposal reports. This position solicits subcontractor pricing or bids and is able to prepare scopes of work for all trade contractors. The Mechanical Estimator must be able to meet critical deadlines, accurately obtain quantities and develop pricing for building components and have the ability to work as part of a team.

  Mechanical Estimator Required Qualifications:

  5+ years demonstrated experience with commercial construction estimating and estimating software solutions

  Demonstrated knowledge of Value Management processes

  Geometry - proficiency in measures of length, area and volume calculations.

  Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Word, and Powerpoint

  Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 7 years prior relevant experience.
