The Role
A recognised technical expert, you'll engage with customers and colleagues to deliver wide range of consultancy projects such as engineering data analysis, RCA, Operations and Maintenance optimisation, life extension and technical due diligence. Ideally you'll have prior experience at a wind turbine OEM or a leading power producer/consulting firm in the renewables sector.
Person Specification:
-Minimum 5 years' experience in technical roles relating to wind turbine technology or wind farm operations.
-Prior experience at a wind turbine OEM or leading power producer/consulting firm in the renewables sector
-Specialist knowledge in one or more of – RCA and failure investigation, performance analysis, wind farm operations and maintenance, life extension, electrical components
-Data analysis skills
-Knowledge of latest predictive maintenance techniques relating to wind turbines
-Strong communication and presentation skills - ability to prepare and deliver high quality reports and presentations
-Confident project manager, able to work effectively under pressure, and experienced in client/customer management.
-Evidence of recent personal interest and development in engineering and analysis techniques
-Ability to work on-site in wind turbines (both offshore & onshore)
-Works effectively to deadlines with minimum supervision; strong problem-solving skills; collaborates well with colleagues regionally and globally
-Fluency in English both written and spoken. A second European language is also desirable (Spanish, German, French).
