Kelly Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Fixed Asset Integrity Engineer for a long-term opportunity in Orange, Texas ! In this role, you will serve as the Fixed Asset Integrity (FAI) Engineer for the East Texas Hub (ETH) supporting both the Sabine River Operations and Beaumont sites. You will provide specialized technical support to enable and maintain our mechanical integrity program (GMISS). You will work with our Inspections team and API field specialist in reviewing and providing recommendations on Fitness for Service (FFS) per API 579 and will also support our Plant Assessment Teams (PAT) to provide subject matter guidance to mechanical integrity issues.
Role and ResponsibilitIES:
Co-lead the implementation on site for the new / change of GMISS standard and FAI Playbook.
Lead site GMISS improvement program; including new GMISS Streamlined Standard, Relief Device Optimization Program, GMISS Registration Gap Closure
Support Site GMISS self-assessment Deep Drill Teams
Perform Fitness for Service (FFS) per API 579
Be the custodian for Site GMISS Work Process and Procedures
Provide technical support to the other site audits and assessment including EH&S Integrated Audit, GMWP Audit, VPP and OSHA Audits and Dow Marsh Insurance Audits
Assist and provide technical support to Site and Plant GMISS teams including process knowledgeable persons (PKP), inspection knowledgeable persons (IKP), run-plant engineers, maintenance engineers, PAT leaders and reliability engineers for GMISS Standard including; Registration, Inspection and Testing Interval, Deficiency, Status Change, Deferral Programs.
Provide technical support and solution/trouble shooting for equipment and piping inspection and repair
Provide technical support and assist site to establish the short-term and long-term plan, develop and train Site GMISS resources
Provide technical support, review and input the Most Effective Technology (MET) G8S-5000 Series, requirement of non-destructive examinations and others.
Participate and leverage best practices from Global GMISS TST.
Participate and leverage best from Global Inspection / NDT TST.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
A minimum 5 years of relevant experience (i.e., engineering, project management, etc.)
