We have an opportunity for aMechanical / Electrical Project Engineer to join our Delavan, WI team.You will be the Design Engineer for Mechanical and Electrical Motors andPumps on NPD, VAVE as well as other engineering projects. You will:Provide engineering support for new product development, costimprovement, and alternate vendor projects for electric motors andassociated components. Develop and implement engineering test andqualification plans. Evaluate drawings, models, datasheets, samples, andtest data related to motors and pumps. Work with a cross-functional teamto develop and implement designs using CAD models, drawings, productcost estimates, material and product standards, bill of materials,prototyping, and testing of products. Cost reduction of existingproducts through part design, material selection, and processimprovements. Support production operations as required throughprocessing engineering change request, deviations, and manufacturingissues. Meet with vendors when needed to review all related productissues, materials, and costs. Key Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree inengineering Required. 3 or more years of experience as a designengineer. Design and development focus with experience/knowledge ofelectro-mechanical and rotating equipment. Good project managementskills are essential. Computer skills including a proficiency in MSOffice. Knowledge of engineering calculation tools a plus (MathCad,Matlab and/or similar) Knowledge of SAP business systems is desirable.Knowledge of CAD programs including SolidWorks is desirable.
