MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

　　Actalent, a specialized staffing firm, is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working on semiconductor projects. In this role, the Mechanical Engineer will design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components for semiconductor applications. The Mechanical Engineer will also be responsible for designing mechanical and process systems, ranging from simple to complex types of designs can include mechanical facility upgrades for semiconductor manufacturing plants, tool installation packages, facility HVAC, process piping and exhaust, and hydronic systems.

　　JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Design for mechanical and process systems ranging from simple to complex. Types of design can include semiconductor manufacturing plant and tool installation design, facility primarily wet side design process piping and exhaust, and hydronic systems.

　　Coordination with design team members, both in mechanical and other disciplines.

　　Familiarity with Pipe-flo a plus.

　　Participation in client design review meetings and presentation of design strategies.

　　Preparation of P&ID drawings for various systems, construction specifications, sequence of operations, testing documents and engineering reports

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　EXPERIENCE

　　2 - 5+ year's experience in an architectural/engineering (A/E) consulting firm.

　　Experience with industrial and semiconductor manufacturing clients is required.

　　Understanding of building code requirements.

　　Good communicator and strong written and verbal.

　　CERTIFICATIONS

　　EIT Certification

　　Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
