　　As a full-time, MDS Nurse, RN/ LPN, you would assist the RN-MDS Coordinator in the completion of the MDS assessments according to the RAI manual.

　　Responsibilities (in part)

　　Demonstrate an understanding of the current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern RAI in long-term care facilities.

　　Demonstrate knowledge of the admission process and assist with resident admissions.

　　Review all potential Medicare and HMO admissions to determine level of care and potential reimbursement.

　　Complete the MDS (RAI) accurately and on a timely basis.  Translate MDS into accurate “I” Care Plan.

　　Monitor care plans for residents.

　　Perform periodic chart reviews to monitor appropriate and accurate documentation and assessments.

　　Participate in surveys and audits made by authorized government agencies.

　　Participate in direct nursing care as necessary

　　Assume all on-call duties as assigned.

　　Support Eden Alternative principles and resident-centered/directed care

　　Requirements

　　Possess and maintain RN or LPN licensure in the State of Michigan

　　Please include  License # when applying

　　Minimum of 1-year experience in a long-term care environment with MDS
