　　Pediatrician UNCPN UNC Wayne Goldsboro, NC

　　UNCPN Neonatal Unit at UNC Wayne is hiring a full time pediatrician for a wonderful opportunity. We are currently recruiting experienced physician to work in our level II newborn nursery.

　　Schedule : 24 and 48 hour shifts, variable including weekends (Full-time)

　　Responsibilities:

　　Providing care for the busy newborn service (100+ deliveries per month)o Average daily census is 10 + including 2+ special care newborn

　　Responsible for rounding on all well and special care newborns

　　Attend high risk deliveries and stabilize premature and/or unstable neonates for transfer to higher level of care NICU

　　Qualifications:

　　Graduation from an accredited MD or DO school

　　2-3 years experience in level II nursery required

　　Experience in attending deliveries and newborn nursery coverage required

　　Required procedures: intubations, umbilical catheter placement, CPAP and ventilator management, circumcisions

　　NRP required

　　North Carolina Medical license required
