  THIS JOB ANNOUNCEMENT IS OPEN TO

  CURRENT STATE OF COLORADO RESIDENTS ONLY

  This position exists to support the mission of the University by supervising, scheduling, and performing all necessary functions in the University Warehouse and the Campus Mail Room. This position will work with individuals on campus, contractors working on campus, and will coordinate the appropriate staff and work studies to complete the work.

  Primary Duties:

  Mail Room / Warehouse Supervisor

  Direct and oversee all mailroom and warehouse functions:

  Supervision of all Warehouse staff reporting to CSU Pueblo Facilities Management.

  Organize, schedule, monitor, and inspect the work of each team member.

  Adjust the daily work plan to compensate for absenteeism in assigned areas.

  Make supervisory decisions for leave approvals and leave management as well as documentation to support appropriate personnel actions.

  The Materials Supervisor will work with the Senior Facilities Directors to make sure that all applicable training for all Mail room / Warehouse staff, including safety training, are completed in a timely manner.

  Provide information and assistance in developing more efficient methods for accomplishing job tasks and cutting costs.

  Oversee both the warehouse and the mailroom operating budgets.

  Collaborate with the Facilities Management Budget Analyst on budgetary concerns.

  Receive and Deliver University Mail and Packages

  The Materials Supervisor will ensure mail room operations are conducted effectively including the sorting and delivery of incoming mail, the preparation and sending of outgoing mail, and accurate record keeping of stamp stock and meter postage.

  Position is accountable for all postal funds, mailing, permits, and related postal issues.

  This position will answer questions and resolve discrepancies between university mail services and university employees, vendors, the United States Postal Service and the public.

  Warehouse Inventory and Security

  Maintaining warehouse inventory and on-hand supplies for Facilities Management:manage ordering to restock the warehouse as well as ordering additional parts or supplies not carried by the warehouse as needed by other Facilities Management Supervisors.

  make decisions about inventory to ensure effective and fiscally responsible warehousing.

  The position will oversee the warehouse budget and expenses.

  This position will also maintain a secure University Warehouse through process and procedures and monitoring of all activities within the warehouse:

  ensures the safekeeping of equipment and materials that are received and stored

  trains employees on care, preservation, and distribution of items received, stored, and shipped.

  Inspects delivery equipment and warehouse equipment for proper functioning and maintenance.

  Campus Moves

  This position is responsible for coordinating all campus moves as requested by various campus departments. These moves can vary from a one office relocation to assisting with whole building or departmental changes.

  This position will also assist with finding furniture that is available for reuse and disposal of old, broken, or otherwise unusable furniture.

  The Material Supervisor will work with the Warehouse team to ensure the work is done safely and efficiently to meet deadlines.

  Assist other Facilities Staff

  Position is required to assist all other Physical Plant staff as needed to include other duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor. The Materials Supervisor will also modify team duties and schedules to accommodate these requests through their team.

  Position will be required to work after-hours as needed for University functions, special events, or emergency situations that may arise.

  Salary Range:

  $4669.00 - $6537.00 per month ($56,028.00 - $78,444.00 per year)

  Required to report without delay or interruption to provide essential or emergency services to ensure health, safety, and welfare of the campus community.
