Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a Materials Planning Supervisor. This position is located at our Greenwood, SC facility. Relocation assistance will be provided within the US/PR.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you’ll do:
The Materials Planning Supervisor will determine and lead implementation of policies and procedures (standard work) for tactical procurement of materials. The position will interface with the Power Systems Sourcing team, plant operations, and other supply chain functions in support of efforts to build strong supplier relationships that deliver supplier on time delivery, material availability, inventory DOH, and improved service levels from suppliers. This position reports to the Site Supply Chain Manager and leads a team of Material Planners.
Supervise, coordinate and measure performance of assigned Planners-Buyers, handling priorities of production and support issues with suppliers
Drive the process for metrics of On Time Delivery, Orders Fill Rate, Supplier On Time Delivery, and Inventory.
Drive the problem-solving process in the daily production meeting.
Revise and validate with finance in weekly basis PPV, GR/IR.
Participate and support in different projects related of savings, design, marketing, sourcing, etc.
Drive the process for connecting with the Financial team (FSS) and ensuring payment for direct suppliers, validate and send the changes needed.
Create training material and document procedures as well as develop, implement & maintain appropriate processes to ensure a productive planning process and well-considered and implementable strategic plans that comply with new/existing business processes.
Act as the ‘Voice of the Customer’ in order to assist in the resolution of Customer inquiries requests. Serve as the overall technical resource for Scheduling and capacity related issues and problem solution alternatives.
Use a combination of performance management, functional leadership, and recruiting for critical skills to create a highly capable workforce with opportunities for achievement and advancement.
Help Develop & Implement a shared Supply Chain vision to achieve the Materials planning and procurement objectives.
Responsible for engaging the production plan of the various materials, parts, and subassemblies required by the plant. Drives for resolution of material shortages.
Participate on the definition of MRP strategies and parameters to support material availability and inventory goals given different type of parts.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3 years of progressive planning or buying experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:
NAPM certification and/or APICS certification
Six Sigma Greenbelt certification
SAP Experience
Experience in an ETO environment
