ABOUT THE ROLE
Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings automation equipment systems. Working under close supervision, assists in monitoring building automation equipment systems operations and performance. Utilizes several trade skills mechanical and electrical.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Troubleshoots basic conveyance problems and understands the proper resources for resolution.
Assist with repairs and maintains material handling equipment and building pneumatic systems. This includes but not limited to belt tracking, component adjustment-replacement, component lubrication, etc.
Creates and closes Work Orders to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used into asset management system.
Completes preventive Maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
Locates and tracks spare parts from inventory.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions as well as problem solve in standard situations.
Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook. Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and goals. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
