　　$17.50 Per hour starting wageDay shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pmThis is a temporary position expected to last 12 weeks possibly longer

　　Responsibilities of the Material Handler

　　Pull product from staging area and bring it to the assembly linePackage product, label, and getting it ready to be shipped outWill use handheld guns, pick products, accurate with guns and counting partsPut away received items using the gun.Pick sales orders and production jobsResponsible for inventory transaction entriesEnsure proper labels are used and properly markedAssist with inventory controlUtilize basic stocking processes to put away finished goods and raw materialUtilize proper techniques for packaging sales ordersIdentify consolidation potential to maximize warehouse spacePerform all work assignments with proper material handling techniques, following quality standards and safety precautionsUse of forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck to move materials around the warehouseAssist with regular clean-up duties as neededAssemble Fiber Optic cables and sub-assemblies when neededAdapt and accept changes based on production demands and schedulesMay be responsible for other duties assigned

　　Requirements of the Material Handler

　　1+ Years experience in warehouse, material handler, productionExperience working in a team environment, and/or independentlyHigh School diploma or equivalentAbility to read, write, and process basic mathFamiliar with cycle counting, picking orders, and working in a warehouseExperience working with ERP system, forklift, gun preferred, but not requiredBasic math skills requiredAttention to detail is criticalPhysical requirements: lift 50lbs at times and consistently lift 25 -- 50lbs, stand entire shift, identify items by color codingSteel or composite-toed boots
