Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
The Associate Vice President, Pharmacy Services serves as senior leadership for one and/or multiple State Health Plans with Pharmacy Eligible Membership of 400,000 or more and Pharmacy staff of 25 or more FTEs, with dual reporting to State Chief Medical Officers(s) and Corporate VP Pharmacy Services. • Responsible and accountable for clinical, administrative, strategic, financial and regulatory management of pharmacy services for one or multiple State Health Plans and participation in Enterprise wide programs or initiatives in Quality, PBM or Utilization Management as directed by VP Pharmacy Services consistent with Molina's overall pharmacy strategy.
• Responsible for one or more Enterprise Wide initiative (Quality, JCode, Specialty, Operations) participation in addition to State Health plan Pharmacy programs
• Provides strategic leadership, planning, and vision to ensure high performance and service, quality oriented and cost effective programming.
• Responsible for regulatory compliance and cost effectiveness initiatives including developing and implementing UM initiatives and reporting.
• Accountable for managing administrative budgetary and cost goals for Pharmacy Services within State or Mult-State Health Plans.
• In collaboration with VP Pharmacy Services supervises Molina's contracted Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM)
• Participates on the Pharmacy&Therapeutics Policy Committee and related utilization or quality committees.
Job Qualifications
Required Education
• Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited pharmacy school or equivalent clinical experience (5 or more years) for those with a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree
• Continuing education required to maintain an active pharmacist license.
Required Experience
• Min.7 years in the healthcare industry, managed care organization or equivalent experience.
• Previous management experience in healthcare.
Required License, Certification, Association
• Active license to practice Pharmacy in the applicable State.
• Must be free of sanctions from Medicaid or any other government program and without restrictions that would affect job performance.
Preferred Education
• Completion of an accredited residency program
Preferred Experience
• 3-5 Years Management or supervisory experience
• 3-5 Years Experience in Government-sponsored programs.

Pay Range: $140,795 - $274,550.26 / ANNUAL
